Social structure and internal data transfer

The VÖLKL GmbH & Co. KG is a wholly owned subsidiary of B. Stumpp & S. Baier Gesellschaft für personenbezogene Schutzausrüstung mbH. Both companies carry out a large part of the company's activities, such as logistics and order processing, together, so that an internal data exchange between the two associated companies is absolutely necessary and takes place regularly in order to guarantee the proper execution of business activities. This data exchange includes all personal data mentioned in this data protection declaration. Furthermore, this data protection declaration is valid for both companies.


Data processing in our online offer


Server log files

The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
  • browser type and browser version;
  • operating system used;
  • referrer URL;
  • host name of the accessing computer;
  • time of the server request;
  • IP address.
This data is not merged with other data sources. Data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPG, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.


Contact form


Data transmitted via the contact form, including your contact data, will be stored in order to be able to process your enquiry or to be available for follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without your consent.


The data entered in the contact form will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPG). A revocation of your already given consent is possible at any time. An informal notification by e-mail is sufficient for the revocation. The legality of the data processing processes carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.


Data transmitted via the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or until there is no longer any need for data storage. Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Newsletter data


In order to send our newsletter we require an e-mail address from you. A verification of the given e-mail address is necessary and the receipt of the newsletter is to be consented. Additional data is not collected or is voluntary. The data will only be used for sending the newsletter.


The data provided during the newsletter registration will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPG). A revocation of your already given consent is possible at any time. To cancel your subscription, simply send us an e-mail or unsubscribe via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. There may be exceptional cases in which Google transmits the full IP address to a server in the USA and shortens it there. System for order processing, stock management and accounting

Your information is set up in our internal system for order processing, stock management and accounting as an individual account as either a customer or supplier. Your data is stored on our secure internal server which we hold:
  • your Business / Trading Name;
  • the Name of your Contact Person(s);
  • your Addresses – can be different and multiple for shipping / communications / billing / can include addresses of your customers for direct shipping;
  • email-Address (es) – can be function@ or name@, for contacting / invoicing;
  • telephone and Fax numbers – can be landline / mobile;
  • sort Code / Account Number;
  • VAT Number;
  • any email correspondence;
  • Sales / Purchasing activity;
  • your bank account details – only if you have authorized us explicitly for a direct debit procedure.

Use of personal client and supplier data

We use this data internally to manage your account information and to communicate with you for our business activities. It allows us to:
  • process sales / purchase orders – via phone, fax or email;
  • create purchase orders – from our society to your business;
  • create sales orders – from your business to our society;
  • manage accounts – including payments, invoices and credits;
  • provide customer service – arranging and recording repairs, returns and warranties;
  • communication – order, sales & product information, company news, queries about products & services.

Data transfer to third parties


We can also use this data externally with third parties. This allows us to:
  • make and process payments – through our bank and via payment cards;
